Download Project and Movie Files

STEP ONE: Export a filmstrip.

Open uneditedclip.avi, and drag it into the timeline.

RIGHT-CLICK the video in the timeline and select VIDEO> FIELD OPTIONS

On this screen select ALWAYS DE-INTERLACE

Click OK.

Next go to FILE> EXPORT TIMELINE> MOVIE

The following screen will popup. Click on the SETTINGS button circled below.

Change the FILE TYPE settings to FILMSTRIP

Click OK

Save the filmstrip as filmstrip1.flm

STEP TWO: Set up photoshop.

Download the LIGHTSABER IGNITION ACTION(at the top of this page), and unzip its contents into C:Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Premiere 7.0/presets/photoshop actions. Or wherever your PHOTOSHOP ACTIONS folder is.

Open Adobe Photoshop, and open the filmstrip you just saved.
Then click on WINDOW and make sure the following windows are checked.

Next, go to the following window and click on the little triangle, circled below.

That should open up a screen similar to this.

Load SABERS-DARK SETTING.ATN by clicking on it.
By these same methods open LIGHTSABER 2.atn, and SABERS-LIGHT SETTING.ATN

Now, select the pen tool, by clicking on it.

If the pen tool is not there, right click the icon that is in its place and select the first tool.

Make sure you have not selected any of the other pen tools that look similar to the pen tool.
